Games Factory Online
Games Factory Online (GFO) produces and publishes educational games for consoles, PC and mobile. Both online and offline.
GFO develops these educational games, a.k.a. Serious Games, together with various educational institutions. This allows us to make optimal use of the teachers’ expertise, so that our games are always ‘loaded’ with the relevant subject matter.
The new trend: Serious Gaming!
Practice proves that games and simulations often lead to quicker and better learning results than traditional tools like books, powerpoint presentations, role plays or classes. Also, gaming is much more fun. For one thing, it helps to motivate both students and teachers! That is why in the years ahead an increasing number of educational institutions, businesses and government agencies will be using Serious Games for educational and commercial purposes. Games Factory Online will be there to support them. During each stage of the process. www.gamesfactoryonline.com

RANJ
RANJ Serious Games is a creative studio specialised in the design and the realisation of serious games. Serious Gaming is a serious business.
RANJ believes in the possibilities of gaming outside its normal domain, being entertainment. It can be a means of communication and learning, an instrument for recruitment and selection and a way of obtaining insight in complex structures. In serious gaming entertainment is not the main objective but rather a means to enrich the experience, to discover in an implicit manner. It is essential to embed these communication goals in the game principles in other words game rules and game goals must match exactly. Only then can the player be totally immersed in the game and at the same time being educated without being conscious of it. Our mission is to master this process, to develop it further, to refine it and to innovate it. Serious Gaming is still in its infant state, but there is a prosperous future waiting ahead. www.ranj.nl
